Coming up Monday, November 21st, 2016, for JB’s Pick as Racer of the Week, I have selected Bobby Knighton, from Houston, Texas. I met Bobby at the annual Hot Rod Picnic here in early September. After hanging out with him and admiring his ’40 Ford street rod, I did some research on this fine gentleman when I got home and I discovered that Bobby is the 1962 AHRA World Champion, achieving that feat with his B/A ’32 5-window Coupe. I’m looking forward to featuring Bobby in my segment on November 21st!
