Coming up Monday, January 30th, 2017, for JB’s Pick as Racer of the Week, I have selected Wendall Nonaka, from Hanapepe, Kauai, Hawaii. Wendall was recommended to me by our friend Michael Baba Balbarino, whose 808_FUEL page has the best information on Drag Racing in Hawaii that you’ll find. Wendall’s 1987 Buick Regal Super Pro hot rod is the best there is; he’s one of the most popular and winningest drivers in Hawaii, and I’m looking forward to featuring him in my segment on the January 30th show!
I am open to suggestions for Racers of the Week, folks. Feel free to message me here on Facebook if you have a racer in mind for this feature.
