I took these pictures at the 1969 Winter Nationals. I had just gotten out of boot camp in San Diego and was starting Radioman school for Uncle Sam. I had a day of leave so hooked a ride up in a bus and spent a terrific day taking in the action. Got to see the Hawaiian fly thru the traps (have a picture of it before and being brought back down the return road after the flight). What a day it was. So here are some of the funny cars that were there that day.
