The Pro Stock Motorcycle rider claimed the win in Sonoma when he went 6.775-seconds at 198.12 mph to defeat reigning champ Matt Smith. Herrera has six wins on the 2023 NHRA season.

NOTE: Justin Ashley earned his fifth win of season on Sunday at the DENSO NHRA Sonoma Nationals when he defeated Antron Brown with the help of a 3.778-second pass at 326.78 mph to wrap up the weekend at Sonoma Raceway.
