NOTE: Funny Car star Matt Hagan picked up his fifth win of the season and first of the NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs. He made a 3.991-second pass at 324.90 mph in his hot rod to defeat reigning champion Ron Capps in the final round of the NHRA Midwest Nationals at at World Wide Technology Raceway.

NOTE: Pro Stock veteran Greg Anderson secured his second consecutive NHRA win of the season when he clocked a 6.552-second at 209.92 mph in the final round of the NHRA Midwest Nationals to take out Aaron Stanfield.

NOTE: Gaige Herrera extended his Pro Stock Motorcycle points lead on Sunday when he won the NHRA Midwest Nationals with his 6.761-second pass at 201.52 mph to defeat his teammate Eddie Krawiec at World Wide Technology Raceway in St. Louis.

NOTE: Pro Mod driver Jordan Lazic won the NHRA Midwest Nationals unopposed on Sunday at World Wide Technology Raceway. He was slated to take on Jason Scruggs who was unable to make the run.
