Photo Review: 2025 PDRA World Finals

The 2025 Red Line Oil PDRA racing series concluded with the Brian Olsen Memorial World Finals presented by ProCharger at Virginia Motorsports Park. Head-to-head runs determined a couple of the season championships. Photos by Dave Oakes highlight the champs.

Ethan Steding’s late-season run netted him a second consecutive world championship in Liberty Gears Pro Street.

When Marcus Butner defeated Tommy Franklin in round 2 and then won the race, he became the Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous Champ.

Jason Harris had a mighty thrash to take the WS Construction Pro Boost final over Buddy Perkinson, but lost the season title to Ty Tutterow.

Alan Drinkwater won the event over Jordan Ensslin and the season title in AED Extreme Pro stock.

Carson Hoyle won his first PTC Pro 632 event with a 4.14 over Kyle Salmine.

Carson Perry also won his first PDRA Super Street event when Dan Whetstine went red.

Ty Tutterow is the new Pro Boost world champion.

Richard Reagan set a new pro street elapsed time record at 3.854.

Bryan LaFlam’s consistent year resulted in a world championship in MagnaFuel Elite Top Sportsman.

When Steve Furr lost in the Laris Insurance Elite Top Dragster final, it handed the world championship to Alan O’Brien.

Connor McGee is the new PDRA Super Street Champ.

Glen Butcher made a miraculous save in Top Sportsman. On two wheels at least twice, backwards at 100 mph, and keeping it off the wall.
