NOTE: Top Fuel points leader Shawn Langdon secured his seventh No. 1 of the season on Saturday at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals when his 3.679 seconds at 339.87 mph held up for best of the field at World Wide Technology Raceway. Langdon will be racing for his eighth race win of the season.

NOTE: Funny Car driver Jack Beckman took the No. 1 qualifier position on Saturday at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals thanks to his 3.866-second pass at 332.59 mph on Saturday to close out qualifying at World Wide Technology Raceway. Beckman will be aiming for his fourth St. Louis victory.

NOTE: Pro Stock’s Troy Coughlin Jr. secured his first No. 1 qualifier position since 2023 when his 6.473-second pass at 211.69 mph held up for best of the class at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals. Coughlin will be racing for his first win from World Wide Technology Raceway on Sunday.

NOTE: Gaige Herrera clocked a new World Wide Technology Raceway track elapsed time record with his 6.444-second pass at 202.76 mph on Saturday at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals. He will be looking to win his fourth consecutive St. Louis race win on Sunday.

NOTE: In JBS Equipment NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by Elite Motorsports, Chip King became the first driver to break into the 50s with his 5.596-second pass at 257.24 mph from the final qualifying session on Saturday at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway.
