Notes: Angel attempted to qualify at Pomona for the NHRA Winternationals, but he was the eleventh alternate with a 7.26/190.27 best. He also failed to qualify at the NHRA Arizona Nationals, where he was the eighth alternate with a 7.23/191.32 best. Things didn't go any better at Houston. It took a 7.09 just to qualify for the NHRA Slick 50 Nationals. Glenn wasn't too far off, running a best of 7.12/193.96. But that time was the eighth alternate for the field. Glenn was at Englishtown for the NHRA Mopar Part Nationals in May. He ran a best of 7.17/191.97, but it was good for the ninth alternate.
