Notes: Ferra had nothing but problems at Gainesville while attempting to qualify for the NHRA Gatornationals. The best he could run was 9.06/167.91, far from the 7.41 "bump." Ralph was at Englishtown near the end of March for its Manufacturer's Pro Stock Showdown. It was an eight-car field, and he ended up as the first alternate with a 7.86/167.59. He also competed at the Super Stock Nationals at Maple Grove. A 7.68 qualified #7 in the eight-car field. He slowed to a losing 8.12/176.81 in the first round that lost to Joe Lepone's 7.63/182.
