Notes: This car was Jim Jackson's Challenger and then Harold Lewelling's Midnight Special. Paul Smith drove in 1984. Fialho took over driving in 85. Fialho qualified number five at Amarillo with a 6.97/203 and went 6.98/203.91 in the first round. At San Antonio Alamo WCS, Fialho ran 7.12/159.01 for number six and ran 7.16 to Wendt's winning 6.84. Fialho qualified number six at I-20 Tyler AAFC on 6/14/85 with a 5.85, but broke in qualifying. Fialho was the first alternate at Houston WWCS, replacing Frank Cook in the first round. Fialho ran a 6.86/205.47, falling to Charlie Byers' 6.64/189.
