Notes: Bucky qualified #2 at the NHRA K&N Filters Winternationals at Pomona with a 5.591/258.22. Bucky defeated #15 Qualifier Bret Williamson in round 1 with a 5.630/259.71 to Williamson's losing 5.743/250.13. In round 2 Austin faced #7 Qualifer Mert Littlefield, Mert never left the starting line, however Bucky left James Bond Red at .007 & threw away a 5.639/259.41 to hand the gift to Littlefield. At the NHRA SummitRacing.com Nationals in Las Vegas, Bucky qualified #3 with a 5.679/254.28. Austin would defeat #14 Qualifier Brian Evanchuk in round 1, #11 Qualifier Bret Williamson in round 2, #2 qualifier Tate Branch in the semis & #4 Qualifier Cy Chesterman in the final to take the Wally. At the O'Reilly Spring Nationals in Houston, Bucky qualified #1 with a 5.575/257.78.
