Kris Kreiger was the seventh qualifier at the Green Valley Race City WWCS 3/83 a 7.66. Kraiger won the first-round 6.98/202.40. Kreiger crossed the center line in the semis. Kreiger was a DNQ at the Green Valley WWCS 4/83 race. Kreiger was the number two alternate at the NHRA Baton Rouge 83 Cajun Nationals with a 6.879 198.01.
