Notes: The Chevy was a 1955 that I had built for a guy. It had a RR Viper 11mk.22 engine in it. It only had two test runs on it, the best of which was a 6.9 at 219 mph. First run was a half track run in compressor, second was supposed to be a half track in burner. It didn't shut of and was still going when it went into the rough section of the track, dug in on the right front side, went airborne and did 3 flips, landed in the weeds, set them and me on fire. I don't remember any of this, just what I've been told. There was still 20 gallons of fuel in the ruptured fuel tank that didn't burn. Car was destroyed and I spent 3 months in the hospital. - Mike Pond
