Notes: After beginning the season running a '32 Ford with a blown Chrysler engine, Scott built a twin engined dragster sporting two blown Chrysler Hemis. It was finished in May. At Helena Drag Strip in Alabama, he set a new state record for AA/D of 166 mph on June 5. In early June at Birmingham he turned 174 mph. On June 26 at Lassiter Mountain Drag Strip, he set a new track record with an ET of 9.2 seconds.
