Notes: Sharrigan drove the No-Mads blue and white dragster to top eliminator at Sanford on May 20. At the Sanford race on June 10, Sharrigan set an eastern seaboard record with a speed of 130.42 mph and won top eliminator. For the third consecutive time, Sharrigan took top eliminator at Sanford on July 8 with 134.33 mph, breaking his old track record in the process. On Sep. 9, the bearded Shag again took a top eliminator win at Sanford with 140 mph. At the final race of the season at Sanford on Oct. 14, Shag took top eliminator with 132 mph.
