Notes: June 7, 1997 is a day Div. 6 racer Chuck Smithfield will never forget. During Comp qualifying his BB/A Baretta burst into flames just as he was staging. Quick action (especially by racer George Scott in the third pic) had the big flames out very quickly with a minimal amount of damage and no injuries.
