Notes: The "Florida Thief" was actually the old Richard Lee "Banzai" car. Sam Robson, of Miami, bought the car, a crew-cab IHC truck and trailer from Lee, complete with blown small-block Chevy. It was a Woody Gilmore Race Car Engineering chassis with very nice metalflake paint, Peacock-Blue full aluminum body by Wayne Ewing. The car was driven by Wayne Miller in this form. Later, Sam built a blown big-block 396 Chevy, overbored to 411." Wayne Miller drove and later Richard Visser drove with the big block in the car.
