Notes: Tony qualified #8 at the Indy WWCS with a 6.69/207.85. He faced #4 qualifier Lee Young in Round 1. Zizzo ran 6.56/209.30 (we don't have the 3rd Digit in his ET here) in his losing effort to Young's 6.49/212.76 | Tony qualified #13 at Beech Bend for the NHRA Sportsnationals with a 6.58/210.77. In the opening round, he slowed to 6.71/208.81 in a loss to Don Irvin's 6.57/211. The following week (June 9), he was at Quaker City Dragway for the third NHRA Division 3 race. His 6.65/203.61 qualified #3. In round one, he defeated Butch Osmon's 6.84/196 with a 6.81/201.79. In the semi-final, his troubled 7.56/136.15 lost to eventual winner Al DaPozzo's 6.60/205. Shortly after that, he was at Columbus for the NHRA Springnationals. He qualified #7 at 6.57/208.71. Zizzo then beat Don Fiorelli's 6.91/200 with a 6.75/203.16. In the second round, his 6.91/201.88 fell to Mike Kosky's 6.58/209. He made a trip to Cedar Falls for the NHRA Division 5 race, where he qualified #6 at 6.73/205.01.
