Notes: I changed the rear end gearing this year from 4.56:1 to a 4.30:1 to help drop the engine RPMs. I lost some ET as a result, but the monkey sure did mph like crazy. I went from a best of 203 (set in 2004) to a 207, then 209 and finally the 214 at my last race. I had bumped the blower overdrive from 25% on up to 33% in early July 2005 to help the Monkey ET a little bit, but ran out of season before I could really fine tune it with some jet changes. I won only 1 round of out of 4 Pro Comp events this year, but I would still count it as a successful year. I had no parts breakage, nobody got hurt or arrested, the new truck & trailer worked out great and my crew and I got a chance to do some traveling with the Monkey.
