Notes: Prior to going to the U.S. Nationals in Oklahoma City, the club dragster had turned a best time of 10.44 seconds at Charlestown, Rhode Island on Aug. 3. They turned 134.5 mph. At the New England Timing Association Regional Championship at the Orange Airport on Oct. 19, Debien took top eliminator with 10.3 at 143 mph.
