Notes: At Island Dragway on Feb. 25, Decell took a Modified Eliminator win with 9.31 at 145.65 mph. In the Friday qualifying at the Springnationals at National Trail Raceway on June 8, he clocked a 9.490 for the best time in the Modified Eliminator category. At the Molson Grandnationals at Sanair on Aug. 5, he won Modified Eliminator with 135.99 mph. He also set a new NHRA national record of 9.20 seconds.
