Notes: White and Pat Franzen of Grants Pass, Oregon, built what a 4-page article in the Feb. '59 issue of Rod & Custom stated was possibly the world's smallest dragster. Weighing just 241 pounds, it regularly raced at the Camp White drag strip in Southern Oregon in 1958. It turned 80.35 mph on its second outing at Camp White on July 13. Research could not find when or where the 102 mph clocking happened that Rod & Custom reported. However, a caption under a photo of the little dragster in the Sep. 20, 1958 issue of Drag News stated that it had been clocked at 100 mph. It only turned 88.23 mph at Camp White on Aug. 10.
