Notes: Ashley Sanford is a drag racer who has competed behind the wheel of top fuel dragsters at speeds of over 300 mph. She earned her Top Fuel license in May 2017 at zMAX Dragway in the 'Nitro Ninja' dragster co-owned by brothers Bobby and Dom Lagana. Three months later, she made her Top Fuel debut at the U.S. Nationals, driving their entry, qualifying #14 at 3.775/322.04. Ashley lost a close one to Steve Torrence in round one, 3.738/329.75 to 3.785/323.27. She qualified #15 at St. Louis at 3.842/299.86 but fell to Leah Pritchett in round one, 3.672/332.75 to 3.919/277.37. Her best times in testing were 3.82 at Concord, NC, in April and 319.22 at Las Vegas in March. |
