Notes: At the NHRA Budweiser Summernationals at Englishtown, Donahue made it to round 2 & Red lighted against #8 Qualifier & Eventual Winner Jim Van Cleve. At the NHRA WWCS in Epping, NH, Donahue ran 7.53/177.51 in his quarterfinal victory over Mark Seferian & 7.50/179.10 in his Semi-Final victory over Tom White. His 7.47/177.33 would make him finish runner-up to Tony DeCarlo. At the US Nationals, Donahue made it to round 2 & Red lighted away a 7.53/180.79 against #9 Qualifier Cotton Perry. Donahue qualified #25 at the Pennsylvania Dutch Classic & ran #6 Qualifier Al DeAngelis in the final. However, Donahue went .497 Red in the final & threw away a 7.62/164.53 in the Runner Up Finish. |
