Notes: His first outing was at Santa Ana on Mar. 20 in his dual flathead-engined, four-wheel drive dragster. The four-wheel drive set-up used Jeep components. His first outing was simply run as a test, but on Apr. 17, after making a run in the 70 mph range, he tried it out for speed and turned 109 mph.
