Notes: Cunningham Changed Classes to D/FX starting at the NHRA Cajun Nationals, where he qualified #9 with a 9.334 (.416 Under). He defeated #25 Qualifier David Cook in Round 1 & #1 Qualifier Danny Byrd in Round 2, but red-lighted in the quarterfinals to #5 Qualifier & Eventual Runner-up Tim Cole. Then at the NHRA WWCS D2 Suffolk 7/6-7/7/85, Cunningham set the D/FX Record with a 9.20/144 & made it to the quarterfinals but lost to Eventual Runner up Roy Johnson. Then at the NHRA Mile High Nationals, Cunningham qualified #3 with a 9.833 (.677 Under) but lost in Round #1 to #19 Qualifier David Cook. |
