Notes: Although Gilmore devoted much of his spare time to building a roadster for drag racing in 1957, he did race his '37 Willys a couple of times that season. He won the A/G class at Eagle Mountain on Mar. 24 (105.26 mph) and May 19 (113.20 mph). In September, he was elected Vice President of AHRA at their meeting in Great Bend.
