Notes: Carnett took the class win in A/FC (Fuel Competition Roadster) at the 10th Annual World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova IL. The car was a 143" Carnett-build chassis, 392 Chrysler fuel dragster with a Messerschmitt body enclosing the driver. It was variously classified as A/FC, A/MFR and A/FD. It's unclear whether it was named the "Hustlin' Hoosier" at this date. -- RT |
