Notes: Rick Howard photo (frame-grabbed from Super 8mm film) at the 1980 AHRA GrandNats, Dragway 42, OH. Big-block Nova UDRA Match racer qualified 7th overall with a best of 8.79. Beat Chuck Williams in round one, but lost in round two (AHRA Drag World posted no times, ETs, etc. Maybe Dennis Doubleday can find some) to either No. 1 qualifier Sam Carroll or number 2 qualifier - and eventual winner - Ted Borowski.
