Notes: Finished Top 10 in both the NHRA and IHRA in 1980. Used a Rodeck motor for match racing, too. | Pat started the '81 season by winning the AHRA Winternationals. He qualified #2 with an 8.26/166. In the first round, he ran an 8.32 over Roy Hill's 8.64. In the semifinal, an 8.29 beat Brad Yuill. In the final, he met low qualifier, Don Nicholson. The two had a close race with Musi's 8.26/167.5 (Top Speed) beating the "Dyno" man's quicker 8.23/166. In March, Pat was at the Englishtown Opener. The show featured four mountain motored cars. Musi beat Ray Allen in Bill Jenkins' Camaro in his first race with an 8.06/174.08. In his second race, he ran an 8.24, which was beaten by Rickie Smith's 7.99. Musi was the fifth member of the Holley Seven-Second club with his 7.98 at Darlington 3/81. |
