Notes: The Ted DeTar-built "Texas Badman" Torino got renamed after Ted died in a racing accident (mid-December of the previous year) and Ivey relocated to Missouri. -- RT | Terry was at Indianapolis in Mid-April, where they had six fuel Funny Cars running. He ran three races. In his first race, his 8.41/174 lost to Fritz Callier. He beat Paul Stefansky's "Super Stang" in the second race with an 8.17/182. The third race saw Pat Minick in the "Chi-Town Hustler" run 7.63/199 to beat his 8.38/176. -- RH |
