Notes: Used Cordoba body after ruining Dart. Tom blew the Cordoba body off this car in early 1977 and finished the season in yet another Dart. Chronology for this Cordoba is July/August 1976 through March/April 1977. Due to the notch-back roof, the car had turbulence issues on the rear deck, and just weeks after its debut, Ivo was using coat hangers (!) to keep the rear spoilers from tearing off the car. This is a true story; I witnessed it firsthand. - David Hapgood | Ivo was at Sacramento on January 1 for a best-of-three match race against Dale Armstrong, who was running Nitro for the first time. Ivo won all three races and the match with a best of 6.22/214. |
