Notes: Jesse was at US 30, York, PA, on June 18 for an eighteen-car show. He warmed up with a 9.37/152.80 as there was no qualifying for the race. In the opening round, he faced Dave Strickler, and the Corvette's 9.06/155 beat the GTO's 9.07/152.02. These times were run in his "65 GTO as he also had his '67 GTO at the race, but in his only race with the newer car, he got crossed up and crossed the centerline. His opponent, "Dyno Don," Nicholson had fouled against him. |
