Notes: Rick won the NHRA Autolite Nationals at Sonoma on August 1. He had set Low ET in qualifying #1 with a 5.88 at 229.06. He then went on to beat Tom Pischinger with a 5.94/225.79, Russ Conroy in round two with a 5.96/225.50, and a semifinal 5.95/226.64 beat Bobby Taylor. Rick faced Blaine Johnson in the finals, and Santos ran his best time of eliminations, a 5.93/226.58, for the victory. George Santos / S & S Automotive. Did he run 5.79/232.61 in 1992 or 1993?
