Notes: Gary raised some eyebrows at Seattle in July for the Ninth annual Travel-Ons Fuel and Gas Championships. During qualifying, his Chevy-powered car ran 6.71 at a shut off 184. Qualified on the bump at the 71 US Nationals at 6.637/213.77. He lost round one to Dick Carnett, 6.63/226 to 6.72/170. Was his comp number 624 and his partner Desimore? |
