We need to confirm that the AA/FD and A/FD entries are the same or not. | Norm Weekly started his second at Pomona on January 12 for a best of three match race against Ron Goodsell. Norm warmed up by setting a new Pomona track speed record of 194.38. In the first race of the match, Goodsell’s 8.20/188 beat his 8.39/187.88. Goodsell was late getting to the line for their second race, so Weekly soloed with an 8.09/191.48. In the last race, Goodsell sewed up the match with an 8.06/188 that beat Norm's 8.19/190.66. |
