Notes: Lee qualified for the NHRA Grandnationals running a 9.39/143.76 for the #15 spot. A first-round 9.58/138.88 lost to Paul Blevins 9.15/148. He qualified #12 at 9.178/150.00 at Indy, and beat Sam Carroll in round one, with a 9.068/149.25, but fell to Dave Kanners in round two with a 14-second shutoff. Those were Lee's only NHRA national events in 1974. | The Nov. 1974 issue of Drag Racing USA has a feature titled "A Very Lightweight Camaro… Lee Edwards' new Pro-Stock entry", and the feature photo caption calls it "the beautifully prepared Don Hardy Camaro". |
