Notes: Lee ran 8.67 under AHRA rules for their Tucson event in January. He then qualified #10 at NHRA Pomona at 8.978/152.54. In round one, Lee fouled against Warren Johnson; WJ's 8.97/155.17 won despite Lee's better 8.82/154. He qualified #7 at NHRA Gainesville at 8.829/154.63. In round one, he beat Reid Whisnant, 8.87/151.77 to 8.96/152. Bob Glidden ended Lee's day in round two, 8.87/154 to 8.96/152. Lee qualified #15 at Indy with an 8.978, but that was in his new Vega. |
