Notes: Won Top Gas Eliminator at the NHRA Winternationals in 1966/1967, and 1968. | Collett was at Great Meadows on May 22 for the NHRA Division 1 Opener. He ran as well as 8.47/174 to reach the final, where opponent Phil Hobbs fouled and Gordon ran 8.63/160.14 for the victory. He was at Bristol early in June for the NHRA Springnationals, but his opening round 8.51/178.92 lost to eventual winner Mark Pieri's 8.31/187. |
