Notes: Twin blown hemis, four staggered slicks in back. Leffler and Coburn each donated a motor from their own racecars to make this German Messerschmitt microcar-based monster work. Not a terribly successful racecar, yet one of the most uniquely memorable efforts of the early years. - RTrnCar was known as the "Coburn Glaze". It was a "Fuel dragster in disguise" and often scored well in the weekly open SoCal AAFD shows. - JM |
