Notes: On 8/16/21 Draglist LIVE, Tom Stephens shared: "I did not race the Corvette. That was another guy. Junior someone." (Robin Stambaugh then provided the name: Junior Rice). Rice was at Richmond in August for the fourth NHRA Division 2 race. Only six cars showed for the eight-car field, and in the opening round of competition, Rice advanced easily when Les Cassidy failed to show. In the semifinals, his 7.59/188.81 was defeated by eventual winner Billy Meyer's 6.20/233. (Speed may have been 181.81. We need to validate.
