Notes: I don't think this car ran that quick in '77? It still had cast-iron heads. I have a magazine pic with a caption that refers to this as a 6.20 race car. It was the addition of Don Garlits' modified aluminum heads in 78 that really picked up the performance. Tim Simplot |
