Notes: This clapped-out, black-primered Bug was the only exhibition car actually owned by the developer of the legendary Turbonique Supercharger and (more notably) the Turbonique Drag Axle. The latter was a liquid-fuel rocket motor that drove through the differential and delivered over 850 tire-smoking horses to the rear wheels.
