Notes: Like all Turbonique Drag Axle cars, the rocket-fueled turbine (rated at approximately 1,000 hp) spun at an incredible 60,000 rpm, then was reduced to 7,250 rpm by an 8.3:1 spur-type reduction gear that transmitted power directly to the rear axle.
