Notes: After previously running the Turbonique-powered Pegasus Mustang, Ohio's Rauth & Venetti moved to a twin-Turbonique-motivated tube-frame Cougar funny car; it retained the Pegasus name. At some point, they reverted to a single propulsion unit. Amazingly, the car survived destruction - unlike most of its brethren - and recently resurfaced as a somewhat corroded but totally intact barn find, complete down to the vintage Turbonique drag axle. - RT |
