Notes: Gary Kohler owned Dynamic Speed Shop on Detroit's east side. This was his own race car, an injected 427 Chevy on gasoline, running A/Altered, Logghe Chassis, Fiberglass Fiat body with Al Bergler tin. This was a tough class in '68 - '70, and some of the competition included Neil Ellis (Mich.), Billy Kidd (Canada), and Larry Nolan (Tenn.). Gary was runner-up at Indy in '69. |
