Notes: Per Steve Reyes, Fred Sorensen quit racing and sold his entire operation to NorCal's Nick Otto in 1970. Former top fuel owner/driver Frank Pitts saw drive time in Otto's "Warlock" AA/FA until a horrific blower explosion and crash at Sacramento almost killed Pitts and destroyed the car. JM |
