Looking For Dragster Tow Eyelets

I think that’s what they are called. I see a number of dragsters with them. They are the ones that attach to the top of front wheels spindle using the 4 bolts. Used to connect a tow strap. I assume they are all standard, just can’t seem to find them. Looked on Jegs and Summit but I must be searching...

Re: Stock BBC block Oil Pressure Port Question

Both holes have threads but no oil passage hole on the upper right and left of the big hole. I guess I will get the fittings and use the big one.
Huh? Mine must have been drilled at some point by a machinest. That's where my oil pressure guage is.

Re: Stock BBC block Oil Pressure Port Question

Can you run oil pressure gauge to this or is there another port for the gauge ?
The port slightly above and to the right in the attached picture is also an oil port. This is typically the one that is used becasue it's a smaller port and more easilly fits the line you would be using.

Stock BBC block Oil Pressure Port Question

Hi All, Hoping someone can help me ID a port on a stock BBC block. In the attached picture, is this an oil port and if so, is it pressurized with filtered or non-filtered oil? The reason I'm asking is I'm planning to install an oil accumulator and really don't want to install an adapter. My engine d...

Re: Question About Borla Collector Muffler

YES The Borla's work....So do the Dyna-max version but they are MUCHO cheaper. Either will give a rich, throaty sound....AND they both will appease the sound police.... I was wondering if the Borla was any quieter than the Dyna-max becasue they are stainless. Does anyone know if the Flowmast...

Question About Borla Collector Muffler

Hey All, Has anyone done any real world testing of these things? How much do they really quiet your car down? How much did they hurt performance? My Camaro had very limited clearance and although I have tried to fit a muffler under my car there is no way without modifying the chassis. Right now I’m ...

I've found that the biggest thing the milks the oil is burbling around at idle - especially if you have the barrel valve set fairly rich at idle - and of course it's worse when the engine's cold. If you get the motor warmed up and don't drive it around too much, the oil will last longer. I don't ru...

Man, if I gotta change oil all the time I'm sticking to gas. This is what I was afraid of with running methanol. I got rid of my Buick cause it was too much maintenance after every race.

Methanol and Oil Changes

Hi, I’ve got a question for you guys running methanol. My engine was originally built to run on methanol and the previous owner ran it 1/8th-mile on an expensive fuel injected methanol setup. Not being able to afford the injection setup at the time I had the previous owner put a 1050 gas dominator o...
