The World Fuel Altered Nationals--This Weekend!!

This is it! The World Fuel Altered Nationals is happening this weekend, Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th, at Eddyville Raceway Park in Eddyville, Iowa.
There will be 2 8-car fields. We are expecting over 20 fuel altereds on the grounds trying for the 16-spots. Here is your chance to see the famous Rat Trap, Nanook, and number of the Outlaw Fuel Altereds out of Texas. These cars are coming from all over the country to take part in the race. There will be big % Nitro cars, as well as a mixture of various percentage cars, and a few blown Alky ones as well.

You know me and Shane will be in attendence since we have been contacted to make a dvd of the event for Scott Gaulter...The surprise third camera person will be none other than Nikkie...We had a blast last year and wouldnt miss this for the world...I am headed home from Pheonix Tuesday night and we will be in Eddyville Friday around noon...Cant wait to see everyone there...

Hi gang,
I will be there Friday and Saturday for sure...
Hopefully I will have our Hot Rod there for some testing and/or licensing passes.
Either way, I hope to catch up with ya!
I will be pitted by the playground on the south side if I bring the car, or hanging out in the nitro pits if I don't bring our car.
Either way, stop by and say "Hi!!"

All the pro cars will be pitted on the South side for this event. It should provide easy access to all the teams and the staging lanes for the racers.
I will see all you hooligans there. We will take good notes for our fellow members who can't make the scene.
There are some BAD BOY Nitro cars coming!!!

Looks like an awesome event!
Since the demise of the East Coast Fuel Altered and Wild Bunch circuits back in the 70s-80s I really miss seeing these cars.
