Some of my favorite times at the drags were during rainouts (of course it wasn't my pocketbook then... later, during Classic Thunder, those rainouts sure did hurt the wallet). But there was nothing to do but bench race and catch up. It was always great. bp

'bout the Only thing I have ever complained about at a Divisional race....(and will till I no longer go to 'em)....is the Stocker's firing up at 7.30 a.m. sharp to do their "parade" laps around the pits......Talk about an alarm clock you Can't ignore......Sheeshhhhh!! :x :x

Wally, that is the time of day at the track I cherish. I bunk in the lounge of the trailer, get up around six, fire up the coffee maker, take a shower and then sit quietly in our pit sipping coffee thinking about yesterdays events and planning todays. It is my most productive time.
I love the smell of traction spray and coffee in the morning.
